As the site's administer explains, the truck will be heavy based on the Wrangler and share many of the same components as the standard model. However, there could be several changes including unique front quarter panels and a new character line on the truck bed.

Jeep hasn't said much about the Wrangler but it is slated to use aluminum components to reduce weight and improve fuel efficiency. Spy photos have also shown the model will have an upgraded interior with higher quality materials.

Rumors have suggested the Wrangler could be offered with with six engine options including two versions of a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two versions of the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. There could also be a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel and a 3.0-liter V6 EcoDiesel.
