An In Depth Review Of The New Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio

When your only rivals are your smaller and bigger siblings, then you know you're in a class of your own. Such is the case with the 2018 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet.

In convertible form, the all-new E-Class from Mercedes-Benz is not only longer and more spacious than the previous generation model, but according to Autogefühl, it's also just as refined and quiet as the Coupe or Sedan models.

That is indeed very high praise for a car that, assuming you don't count the BMW 6-Series Convertible as somewhat of a rival (which you probably shouldn't), is almost one of a kind.

We went through the entire video, which is pretty long at 46 minutes, and came away with the impression that this seems a formidable car, as long as you know what you're looking for. It's not as sporty as the C-Class Cabriolet, nor is it as magnanimous as the drop-top S-Class, but in a vacuum, it's everything the Coupe and Saloon models are, minus the roof.

The reviewer did mention that mastering all of the car's on-board gadgets takes a while to get used to (perhaps a bit too long), but some people can be faster learners than others.

Tell us if the 2018 E-Class Cabriolet has you convinced as well.
