2018 Mitsubishi Mirage And Mirage G4 Gain A 7-Inch Infotainment System

Mitsubishi has announced a series of updates to the 2018 Mirage and Mirage G4.

Currently arriving at dealerships across the United States, the entry-level Mirage ES gains a handful of useful features including a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity. The model also receives a rearview camera and a steering wheel with new Bluetooth controls.

The Mirage SE and GT largely carryover but the models now have a center armrest and a USB port in the center console.

The Mirage G4 ES has all of the features from its hatchback counterpart as well as a trunk pass-through and a new USB port. Additional changes are limited but include an armrest on the SE variant and an updated ES Smartphone Package with 15-inch alloy wheels.

Both models are powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that promises to deliver a "harmonious blend of lively acceleration and efficiency." Drivers shouldn't get their hopes up as the engine develops 78 hp (58 kW) and 74 lb-ft (100 Nm) of torque. On the bright side, the Mirage returns up to 43 mpg highway.

Pricing starts at $13,395 for the Mirage while the Mirage G4 retails for $14,395.
