BMW M Performance Parts Give The New 6 GT A Sportier Look

Want the versatility of a wagon in a sportier form? BMW has been keen to help for some time now, first with the 5 Series Gran Turismo and now with its 6 Series-branded replacement. But those looking for an even sportier take on the tall-roofed oddity may be interested in these new M Performance Parts.

Launching in November together with the new 6-Series GT, the components include everything from exhaust upgrades to sporty visual enhancements inside and out. The exhaust silencer (offered for both the 630i and 640i models) is made of stainless steel and comes with either a round or trapezoidal tip in chrome or carbon fiber, complete with M logos.

21-inch alloys are on offer to house upgraded brakes with four-piston red calipers and ventilated discs, while a gloss black grille gives the vehicle a more aggressive look. Of course that's not the extent of the visual upgrades, which also include carbon-fiber mirror caps, a Frozen Black matte wrap, and matte black and gray trim stripes.

And for the interior, there's Alcantara grip surfaces, a sportier steering wheel finished in silver-stitched Nappa leather with a red strip at 12, shift paddles for the eight-speed automatic transmission... even special floor mats – all of which is aimed at making you forget just how unusual that roofline is. But BMW has proven particularly adept at that feat.
