Mostly known for tuning BMW M cars up to 1,000 horsepower, G-Power have expanded their offerings which now include upgrades for the more humble four-cylinder Z4, the sDrive18i.
When stock, the roadster's lump produces 156PS (154hp) and 240Nm (177lb-ft) of torque, but now, it makes a total of 204PS (201hp) and 310Nm (229lb-ft) of torque, slashing some 2 seconds from the car's 0-100km/h (62mph) sprint time.
The extra muscle was achieved by applying a power module and remapping the ECU, though in spite of these upgrades, the unit's longevity is said to remain unaffected.
Making sure that the now-aging Z4 becomes more noticeable, is an aftermarket set of ultra-light 20-inch forged wheels that can be ordered from G-Power.
This particular Z4 model won't be with us for long though, as BMW has a replacement coming, co-developed with Toyota. The new model could make its debut as early as this August during the 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, according to recent reports.
