The image above may look photoshopped and taken straight from a Hollywood blockbuster but it is the very real aftermath of a crash in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Police from Elizabeth and Linden discovered the precariously-positioned 2008 Acura TL Type S on Saturday morning with no occupants inside and being held up from the road below thanks solely to a steel fence.
Local media outlet NJ reports that authorities found the driver, 34-year-old Miguel Vargas, and his passenger walking near the crash after somehow managing to escape the car uninjured and without nudging it off the bridge.
The driver was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, careless driving and failure to report an accident.
