BMW E30 Is A True Smoke Machine

Some BMW 3-Series models from the E30 generation, especially the M3 and 320is, are changing hands for large sums on the used car market.

However, despite their potential collectible status, some owners choose to modify them for a whole bunch of different activities, from drifting to drag racing.

Take this tuned E30, for instance, which has been smoking its tires in different locations in Stockholm, Sweeden with such considerable ease, it borders on the ridiculous. This is thanks to a V8 turbo engine swap, and its burnout abilities certainly do it the nickname The Smoke Machine justice - and then some.

Why, in one of the scenes it will drift and smoke its tires at a straight line in a tunnel for so long, it creates a haze of smoke so thick it obscures all visibility. He even performs the trick among city traffic, narrowly missing a slow-moving minivan on the right lane while drifting. Drifting and all is fine with us, though we can't say we condone that last part...
