Despite the fact that most car accidents occur in traffic, the most dangerous situations arise when you've got a speeding chunk of metal coming at an unsuspecting (and defenseless) pedestrian.
This incident took place in Rio Branco, Acre in Brazil, back in May, and it shows a runaway car smashing into another vehicle before colliding on the side of a building.
While the first angle shows the car coming in hot, it's the second camera angle, around the 20-second mark, that lets you see how close a man came to getting crushed by the automobile.
The description of the video states that the man standing there (Jonas) escaped "from death" after the car hit his place of work. To say that this guy escaped death is by no means an exaggeration.
As for why that car was out of control in the first place, we don't know. It almost seems like whoever was behind the wheel kept accelerating as they drove over multiple lanes. If anything, it seems that the white car must have been speeding even before anything actually went down.
