The Last Aventador SV Is the Most Special With Porsche 918 Paint

See this Lambo? It's the last Aventador SV, rolling off the line in Sant'Agata Bolognese before the model is discontinued – essentially supplanted by the newer (but less powerful) Aventador S.

That in and of itself would ostensibly be enough to make this Raging Bull special in its own right, but that's not the end of the story. It also features a rather unique paint job to make it even more so.

According to the dealership in Scotland, this final Super Veloce was specially ordered in Liquid Metal Blue – not out of the Lamborghini catalog, but from its sister company Porsche, which offered this shade and the intricate process entailed on the 918 Spyder... at a $65,000 premium. The finish is apparently the result of twelve stages, and was applied not only to the principal body panels, but to the trim pieces as well – so everything that was left black or in exposed carbon-fiber on other Aventador SVs was painted that unique shade on this one, complemented by gold-tone multi-spoke alloys.

Lamborghini Edinburgh reports (via GTSpirit) that the special order was the result of “months of work,” including “many hours of phone calls, many trips to Italy and many nights working late.” The net result of all that effort, however, is that this Aventador SV both “the last one ever to come out the factory and the highest spec in the world.” A nice note on which the 750-horsepower beast can sign off... until a new Super Veloce is ready.
