These Are The New Porsche Cayenne's Networking Options

Thanks to Porsche Connect Plus features being standard on the new-generation Cayenne, the SUV now packs a wide range of functions, services and apps, raising its networking skills to a whole new level.

For the first time ever, Cayenne drivers can access the likes of Amazon Music, Smart Home functions as well as Radio Plus, all through the use of Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The new Cayenne is of course permanently online thanks to its integrated, LTE SIM card.

Furthermore, Porsche has also developed a simplified smartphone app for key Connected Car functions.

While on the road, the Cayenne's enhanced online navigation with real-time traffic information is quick and comprehensive. While searching for a destination, the finder will also provide you with additional information such as fuel prices, available car parks (with prices and opening times), as well as user reviews for hotels and restaurants.

Of course, navigating to your destination is even easier now thanks to the Voice Pilot feature which works much more intuitively than before says the German automaker - for example, you can enter a navigation destination without any address details. This system understands over 100 commands, from sat-nav to music control, and even vehicle functions like air conditioning settings and seat heating.

As for when you're not actually inside your car, using the Connect App means that you can check out driving range, oil level and even maintenance history.
