Here's What Seat's Leon Cupra R Can Do In The Hands Of A Racing Driver

No chit-chat, no reference whatsoever about details such as the rear bench or storage spaces - just 4min and 11sec of Seat Leon Cupra R pure driving pleasure.

The clip posted by L'argus shows the Spanish hot hatch being pushed hard on a closed course with professional racing driver Jordi Gene behind the wheel.

The Cupra R is limited to just 799 units and is the brand's most powerful road-legal vehicle ever. It is powered by a 2.0-liter TSI engine that's shared with the Volkswagen Golf R, with an output of 310PS (306hp) in the manual transmission versions and 10PS (10hp) less in the six-speed DSG-equipped ones.

In both case, power is transmitted solely to the front wheels and Seat's hot hatch will hit 100km/h (62mph) in 5.8 seconds, while top speed is electronically limited at 250km/h (155mph).

Exclusive carbon fiber details and some special colors set it apart from its lesser siblings on the outside, whereas its interior is covered in Alcantara and sports some copper and carbon fiber accents as well.
