See this truck? Looks like something you might have seen a dozen years ago in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (now title-sponsored by Camping World), right?
Well your eyes do not deceive you. Only this one isn't limited to the super-speedway. It's been converted to run on public streets, and it can be yours – if you place the winning bid.
The Chevrolet Silverado racing truck was converted by Magic Customs of Brook Park, Ohio, which fitted it with equipment like a glass windshield, wipers, mirrors, horn, brake lights, and a passenger seat.
Most everything else is pretty much as you'd find it on the version that Darrell Waltrip fielded in 2005, right down to the #17 Tide/Downy racing livery. (Or at least it would be if Waltrip hadn't switched to Toyota for the previous season.)
Since its conversion, the truck's been driven all of 550 miles in show events. But if you're brave (and lucky) enough, you could take it home from Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale this Friday and drive it as much as you like... or dare.
