Mitsubishi L200 Lucky: All Work On The Outside, Plusher On The Inside

Carlex, Mitsubishi, Mitsubishi L200, Tuning
Carlex Design are known for offering aftermarket parts for a variety of vehicles, and their Pickup Design sub-brand does the same, only to pickup trucks.

One of the latest models to have fallen into their hands is the Mitsubishi L200. It’s named the Lucky, is offered in a limited run of 500 units and adds a plethora of exterior and interior upgrades.

Available in eight different colors, it gets a custom made body kit that consists of reworked bumpers, grille, bonnet lip, wheel arch extensions and taillight frames. These, combined the light bar mounted on the roof, 18-inch aluminum rims shod in 265/60 BFGoodrich all-terrain tires, and special graphics, make it look even more off-road ready than the stock model.

While the exterior of this tuned L200 Lucky is strictly utilitarian, the cabin is another matter, as it has been reupholstered with Nappa leather.

The premium material is found on the modified steering wheel, central and door armrests and seats, which feature an embossed ‘Lucky’ logo. Emphasizing the pickup truck’s limited run is a plaque mounted in front of the gear selector.

As for the oily bits, the L200 Lucky benefits from a lift kit and a custom-made exhaust system that the tuner says give the pickup “a true rally character”
