Audi Continues To Tease The A8, Says It Shows Their New Design Language

The Audi A8 teaser campaign continues as the company has released a new promotional video that highlights the car's exterior design.

While the clip only provides a few glimpses of the luxury sedan, we can see the model will have a bold front fascia with a Prologue-inspired grille. The car has also been equipped with slender headlights and chrome trim around the air intakes.

As the video progresses, it reveals the car will have metallic window surrounds and a sharp character line below the greenhouse. Later on, we are treated to a better look at the car's distinctive LED taillights which have a chrome strip running between them.

The video doesn't show much we haven't already seen but Audi confirmed the "new A8 will show the future design language of the four-ring" brand. This isn't too surprising as spy photographers have already snapped photos of the next-generation A6 and S6. Both models will follow in the footsteps of the A8 and adopt a wider and more prominent grille.

The new A8 will be unveiled on July 11th and the model will come standard with a 48-volt mild hybrid system. Other highlights include an active suspension, an autonomous parking system, and optional rear relaxation seat with a foot massager.
