Destroyed Dodge Challenger Hellcat Isn't Going Anywhere

With 707 hp on tap from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine and rear-wheel drive, it would be an understatement to say the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat can get a little lairy under acceleration. In the hands of a novice, that can have catastrophic results.

Since launching, multiple Hellcats have appeared for auction at scrapyards and the following, up for sale on Copart, has sustained some of the worst damage we've seen.

Few details about the crash have been included in the listing other than that the muscle car sustained a rollover. Based on the images available, every single body panel has been crushed with much of the front-end missing and the rear-end caved in. We'd be very surprised if the driver and any possible passengers escaped without injury, though we certainly hope they did.

At the time of writing, the current bid for the trashed Hellcat was locked in at $7,100, although we're not sure why someone would be willing to pay that much for the car. No exterior panels would be salvageable and we imagine most of the crucial mechanical parts would also be worse for wear and hard to sell.
