F1 Releases Footage From Driver Briefing For The First Time In 20 Years

As part of Liberty Media's continual effort to make Formula One more appealing to fans, footage has been released from inside a driver briefing for the first time in two decades.

Filmed as all the drivers gathered together prior to the Monaco Grand Prix, the clip offers a unique insight into a rarely-seen aspect of the sport as the drivers speak about their concerns about the race and the previous round in Spain.

Much of the video revolves around concerns Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen has about the height of a yellow curb on the Monaco circuit. Even Danill Kyvat asks if there's any chance of walls returning to the swimming pool section instead of the kerbs currently used.

Ever since Liberty Media purchased a controlling stake in the sport earlier this year, it and chief executive Chase Carey have been looking for ways to improve fan engagement on the back of dwindling viewership.
