A Chevrolet Camaro owner has filmed the moment she confronted a dealership employee taking her car to a fast food drive-through when it should have been in the shop being serviced.
Mari Agredano-Quirino from California uploaded the video on Facebook shortly after the Camaro Indy 500 Pace Car edition she owns with her husband was dropped off at the Montebello Chevrolet dealership to have an oil change and its air conditioning system repaired.
However, while walking in town, Agredano-Quirino spotted the car flying down the street and eventually caught up to its driver at an Original Tommy’s drive-through.
As you’d expect, the couple returned to the dealership furious and complained to management who admitted the joyride was unauthorized and offered the owners compensation for the repairs.
Speaking to NBC Los Angeles, Agredano-Quirino said she uploaded the video to demonstrate how unprofessional dealerships can be.
“I know this happens to a lot of people and they can't prove it and dealerships don't take accountability. Sometimes we have to take accountability for our actions,” she said.
