These Are Just Some Of The Thousands Of Cars Destroyed By Hurricane Harvey

In the three weeks since Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on Texas, the Royal Purple Raceway and Texas World Speedway have become the graveyards for hundreds of thousands of destroyed vehicles.

Last week, approximately 40,000 vehicles were being stored at Royal Purple Raceway alone but new images and videos have only just revealed the true vehicular toll of the hurricane that killed 80 people.

At Royal Purple Raceway, endless rows of cars can be seen neatly organized on the expansive fields owned by the facility. It is a similar story at the Texas Motor Speedway with vehicles lined up on the track and throughout much of the infield.

It is believed that the owners of the Royal Purple Raceway agreed to a six-month contract with Copart where the salvage auction specialists will inspect each vehicle and decide on its fate.
