Would Land Rover's SUV Styling Work On A 4-Door Sedan?

As you well know, Land Rover are on a roll nowadays when it comes to styling. Models like the new Discovery, the Discovery Sport, or the Range Rover (all of them) are all considered very sporty and modern when it comes to design.

Thus, logic would dictate that if you take some of those design features and use them on a 4-door sedan, you should end up with something that could look good. It's almost inevitable, right?

Well, yes and no. This render of a "Jaguar Velar" if you will, was penned by Kleber Silva, and as you can see, while those grille and headlights would look alright on just about anything, the rest of the car doesn't appear to be in any way more handsome than the original product.

Then again, we can certainly understand if you like the styling. After all, this still looks like a proper sports sedan. Not sure about all those vents though.
