The world’s most glamorous car show in one of the most beautiful places in the world is a worthy title for the 2017 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Located at Lake Como in northern Italy, the famed car event managed to attract for another year the most precious, beautiful and exclusive metal in the world and Harry Metcalfe was there to take us for a detailed tour.

No wonder why car makers such as BMW, Rolls Royce and Renault pick this event to showcase their latest concepts or one-off creations, with this year including the debut of the BMW 8-Series concept and the bespoke Rolls Royce Sweptail, which is said to be the most expensive one-off car ever with an estimated price of $13 million.

Of course the real stars of the show are the classic beauties, including all-time favorites as well as bespoke, custom-bodied cars that no one has heard of before.
