If your faith in humanity needed a little boost today, this clip showing a daring rescue following a collision on the motorway, might do the trick.
The incident occurred in the Ingushetia region in Southern Russia, and culminated when one of the vehicles involved in the crash caught fire moments after coming to a halt.
Even though the rescuers made a run for it as soon as they saw the flames come out, they quickly regrouped and decided not to abandon those people inside the car.
In the end, they had to break the windows in order to drag all the passengers out, since none of the doors seemed to open. The driver of trailing vehicle also needed rescuing, and was dragged away from the car successfully. Unfortunately we didn't notice him move at all, which means he could have been unconscious, or perhaps worse.
In the end, this was a daring rescue, with people putting themselves in harm's way in order to help out total strangers, which just goes to show how everyone can be brave at any given moment.
