Rolls Royce Cullinan Looks So Out Of Place At The Nurburgring

Rolls Royce took its upcoming SUV to the Nurburgring for some high-speed testing and our spies were there to catch them in the act.

Despite its heavyweight credentials, the rather huge Rolls Royce Cullinan looks like it's managing itself pretty good on the corners of the Green Hell, with its air suspension keeping body roll in acceptable levels.

Underneath its bulky exterior, the upcoming Rolls Royce Cullinan uses the same aluminum platform used by the also upcoming Phantom. Compared to the latter, the Cullinan will be shorter and of course taller, with Rolls Royce promising to offer an excellent ride quality on every surface.

The British company also tried to hide the rear suicide doors by adding a fake door handle on them just to keep us puzzled but we all know just how much Rolls Royce and its clients love the reverse door mechanism.

Power will be provided by a silky-smooth big V12 engine but don’t expect any future plug-in hybrid powertrains from Rolls Royce as the company’s boss made it clear that they will jump straight to all-electric ones, once the technology is ready.

Expect to see the Rolls Royce Cullinan hitting the market in 2018.
