Guns and road rage are a bad combination and it becomes considerably worse when the two mix in heavy traffic.
The latest incident occurred in Houston, Texas following a minor accident between a Jeep Wrangler and a Nissan Rogue. Instead of getting out of their vehicles to exchange insurance information, ABC News says both drivers emerged and began shooting at each other after a brief discussion.
While the initial exchange wasn't caught on video, a crew from KTRK ABC 13 happened to be at a nearby Starbucks and raced to the scene once they heard gunfire at around 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Despite their quick action, the crew arrived shortly after the last shots were fired but the two drivers continued to threaten each other with guns drawn.
Unfortunately, one bystander was hit in the head in the crossfire. Thankfully, an off-duty paramedic was in the area and was able to offer assistance until ambulances arrived.
Police took both men into custody and reports say one of them wounded and taken to a nearby hospital.
