The Mercedes-AMG Project One was the star attraction of the Frankfurt Motor Show but its styling didn't win everyone over.
That spurred Peisert Design to create a modified version of the car which attempts to bring it "visually closer" to Formula One racers.
Starting up front, the model has been equipped with a new bumper that features a protruding nose which echoes the company's F1 car. The headlights have also been removed and relocated inside the Project One's massive grille.
The styling changes continue further back as the car has been equipped with additional air vents on the hood and new openings ahead of the rear wheels. The rear end also sees some subtle revisions including a slender brake strip that wraps around the opening of the bumper.
Thanks to these modifications, the car has a distinctive appearance which looks a little more futuristic.
Unveiled ten days ago, the Mercedes-AMG Project One is a street-legal hypercar which features an assortment of Formula One technology. Power is provided by four electric motors and a turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 engine. This setup enables the car to produce over 1000 hp (745 kW) and accelerate from 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in less than six seconds. The car can also hit a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) and travel up to 25 km (15.5 miles) on electricity alone.
